Session Descriptions

  1. How motivated we are about reaching a goal often determines our success. When we see things the way God sees them, we will be motivated. Session One is a challenge to pursue seeing others the way God sees them and to be motivated by His love to do whatever it takes to share His message with them. If we experience His heart for the lost, we’ll probably be unstoppable.
  2. We know God hears our prayers when we pray according to His will. Since it is not His will for anyone to be lost, praying for those who don’t yet know the Lord is important. This session talks about the importance of our prayers, the power of our prayers, the battle we’re involved in and ten strategic prayers we can pray for those who don’t yet know the Lord. We can touch their lives through prayer no matter where they are.
  3. Every Christian wants others to know Christ. Every Christian wants to be able to tell others about Christ. However, often there are barriers or fears or intimidations that slow us down or even stop our sharing. This session talks about seven of the most common barriers Christians face and what we can do to overcome them. When we get rid of these hindrances, sharing our faith gets exciting.
  4. We all feel challenged when it comes to comfortably bringing Christ into everyday conversations. There are approaches you can use in some situations but not in others. Probably there is not one approach that fits every situation. So, the best way to prepare yourself is to be comfortable with a variety of possibilities and trust the Lord to guide you in each situation. This session will give you ten questions to use as possible transitions.
  5. The Gospel—the story of God’s love expressed through Jesus—is the only story that accurately tells people how they can succeed in this life by God’s standard and then live an eternal life in Heaven. Without question, the Gospel is the greatest story ever told. If we are going to communicate it effectively, we must listen to others, understand their life situations, know our message and tell it clearly and effectively.
  6. When you experience the greatest story ever told in such a way that it transforms your life for eternity, it becomes your story. It’s not a theory, nor a possibility, nor just a hope or a dream. It’s a personal story. It is life changing. It goes beyond just being God’s message to being your experience. It lets you live life in a whole new dimension. Some stories are so personal you don’t want to share them. But the story of your life being transformed by the power of Christ is so personal you have to share it. This session will help you tell your story.
